Individual Therapy
Therapy offers a supportive framework to try something different.
Depression, anxiety, and life stress have a way of driving us off track; we lose sight of our priorities or how to respond in a way that will serve us best in the long term. Therapy can help clarify your priorities, re-align your actions with your values, and lead to greater satisfaction in your life and relationships.
Give yourself the opportunity to relate to your anxiety or sadness differently. Regain a sense of your strengths and values and expand your world again.
A SPOTLIGHT ON ANXIETY
Anxiety is super tricky. It sometimes feels helpful, even productive. You obsessively try to “figure it out” or come up with contingency plans A-Z. You can’t shake the feeling of being disconnected or like your mind won’t turn off. What starts out as an innocent problem-solving session can quickly spiral into full-body tension, compulsive behaviors, and snapping at your loved ones. At some point uptightness and rigidity takes the place of resourcefulness and balance.
Whether you have a clinical diagnosis or are new to therapy, evidence shows that anxiety is treatable. Google and mindfulness apps may have given you some relief, but they have only taken you so far.
If you find yourself needing more support, you are in the right place.

Together we can work to…
Shift the way you respond to change, transitions and challenging moments.
Utilize your strengths and resources.
Connect more deeply to yourself and others.
Feel your full range of emotions, being present without judgment.
Put a stop to your inner power struggle, the exhaustive cycle of “overthinking.”
No longer rely on the use of “bandaid” or quick fixes that don’t lead to lasting results.

How it Works
Step 1
Schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. If you feel comfortable scheduling an initial intake appointment after our call, we will schedule our first session.
Step 2
Once an initial appointment is confirmed, I will send you an invitation to my electronic medical record, Simple Practice, where you can fill out basic information to expedite our intake process.
Step 3
After our initial appointment, we will spend the next few sessions exploring your history and goals for therapy and outlining a treatment plan. I recommend an initial weekly cadence for our sessions.
